Position Overview – Remote Data Entry Specialist (Typist) We are seeking a meticulous, detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to support a critical application migration initiative. This entry‑level, fully remote role offers an ideal platform for individuals eager to sharpen their typing speed, develop expertise in user provisioning, and gain hands‑on exposure to healthcare technology projects. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, providing essential data‑entry services that enable smooth transitions for our clients as they move to a new, state‑of‑the‑art platform. Key Responsibilities Accurate Data Entry: Input large volumes of organization and user information into the migration system, consistently achieving a typing speed of minimum 40 words per minute while maintaining an error rate below 1%. Manual Setup of Entities: Assist in the creation and configuration of new organizations, departments, and user credentials, ensuring that each profile meets the security standards required by healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GDPR where applicable). End‑User Support: Act as the first point of contact for end‑users needing assistance with profile creation, password resets, and basic navigation of the new platform. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with migration engineers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists to resolve data discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency. Shift Flexibility: Work within one of the designated shift windows (8 AM‑5 PM, 9 AM‑6 PM, 10 AM‑7 PM, or 11 AM‑8 PM EST) to align with client onboarding schedules and project milestones. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of completed entries, issues encountered, and resolutions provided; generate daily status reports for the migration leadership team. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on data‑entry tools and processes, contributing ideas that help automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual effort over time. Essential Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business administration, information technology, or related fields is a plus. Typing Proficiency: Proven ability to type at a speed of 40+ WPM with a high degree of accuracy. Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous for supporting a diverse client base. Technical Foundations: Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel, including table creation, data sorting, and basic formulas.
