Key Responsibilities


Strategic Execution & Volume Growth



  • Implement and communicate strategies that increase ocean freight volumes and maximize market competitiveness.

  • Support the MD of Ocean in shaping carrier development plans, pricing structures, and routing optimizations.

  • Analyze carrier performance metrics, identify service gaps, and propose corrective actions.

Pricing & Revenue Management



  • Assist in the design and rollout of pricing programs, ensuring alignment with volume targets and market conditions.

  • Review and quote ocean freight rates, negotiate contracts, and maintain an up‑to‑date rate database.

  • Monitor yield enhancement initiatives and report on financial outcomes.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration



  • Act as an ocean subject‑matter expert for Sales, Operations, and Product teams, providing data‑driven insights.

  • Facilitate communication between the regional ocean management team, global trade lane experts, and external carriers.

  • Partner with Marketing to craft internal and external communications that highlight ocean product capabilities.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement



  • Maintain direct and indirect contact with customers to resolve service issues and gather feedback.

Essential Qualifications

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
