They are seeking a Disbursement Analyst to process disbursement-related transactions, review incoming documents for accuracy, and ensure compliance with financial controls. Responsibilities Utilize multiple mainframe systems to process disbursement related transactions Review AWD to confirm paperwork has been completed timely and is in order Determine if paperwork is in order to process or refer to Not In good order (NIGO) unit for follow up Validate original Medallion Signature Guarantee, if available Review power of attorney documents and trust documents for signature compliance Review disbursement transaction for company financial controls Ensure all company federal and state compliance requirements are met Work on Ad hoc projects as needed Skills 1+ years of experience in financial services industry or customer service Knowledge of the Disbursement process Ability to handle multiple processes and prioritize workload and be organized and detail oriented Ability to think creatively, communicate effectively both written and verbal, and work collaboratively Self-starter; ability to work independently with little supervision while contributing as a team member Sound analytical, problem solving and decision making skills Reliable with the ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards Ability to handle sedentary nature of job Demonstrated accountability and sense of urgency Benefits Medical Dental Vision A 401(k) plan Paid time off Company Overview Equitable provides consulting services to secure the financial well-being and retirement strategies for individuals and families.
