You will partner with product managers, marketing strategists, supply‑chain planners, and engineering teams to extract, transform, and visualize data that fuels HP’s e‑commerce strategy. This position reports to the Lead Analyst for the Category & 4P Analytics Team and collaborates closely with data engineers, senior analysts, and cross‑functional stakeholders.Key Responsibilities• Deep‑Dive Analytics: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities across product categories, pricing, promotions, inventory levels, and digital channel performance.• Data Extraction & Transformation: Write advanced SQL queries and develop Python scripts (pandas, NumPy) to cleanse, merge, and reshape large datasets from sources such as ERP, CRM, web analytics, and third‑party platforms.• Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to executives, product owners, and operational teams.• Automation & Efficiency: Automate routine reporting pipelines, schedule recurring data jobs, and implement version‑controlled workflows using Git to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with data engineers to define data schemas, with business analysts to align on metric definitions, and with product owners to translate analytical insights into actionable roadmap items.• Data Governance: Ensure compliance with HP’s data governance standards, validate data integrity, and document data lineage for auditability.• Strategic Recommendations: Synthesize findings into clear, concise recommendations that influence pricing strategy, inventory allocation, promotional tactics, and customer experience enhancements.• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Coach junior analysts, contribute to best‑practice documentation, and foster a culture of data literacy across the organization.Essential Qualifications• Educational Background: Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.• Professional Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in an analytical role within e‑commerce, retail, or supply‑chain environments.• SQL Mastery: Ability to write complex, performance‑optimized queries, build views, and manipulate large relational datasets.• Python Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with data‑analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and scripting for data pipelines and automation.• Visualization Expertise: Advanced Tableau skills, including calculated fields, parameter actions, and dashboard performance tuning.• Version Control: Familiarity with Git workflows for collaborative code development and change tracking.• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem‑solving abilities, statistical reasoning, and the capacity to translate ambiguous data into concrete business insights.• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a talent for presenting technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.• Attention to Detail: Rigorous
