Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Everyday Health is looking for a Part-time Temporary Health Editor to join the Editorial Team for 10 weeks. The editor will work with a team that creates condition-based content and should have strong communication and project management skills. Responsibilities β’ Generate story ideas, assign, and edit high-quality, engaging, and medically accurate content β’ Manage editorial workflow through publication β’ Use data and SEO guidance to inform content decisions, keeping the Everyday Health brand and voice top of mind β’ Update and optimize existing content Skills β’ 7+ years of digital editing, including experience with an online Health, Wellness, News and/or Lifestyle brand β’ Strong background in health content, including the treatment and management of conditions and diseases, and the ability to distill complex scientific information into easily understandable and engaging information for users β’ Strong editorial judgment β’ Strong organizational ability, good verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet established deadlines β’ Experience working in a CMS β’ Bachelor's degree required, preferably Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field Benefits β’ Employee Resource Groups β’ Company-sponsored events β’ Regular opportunities for professional growth through educational support β’ Mentorship programs β’ Career development resources β’ Employee engagement programs β’ Recognition awards Company Overview β’ Everyday Health is a recognized leader in patient and provider education and services.
