They are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Lawyer to advise on employment and labor law matters, including contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution, while working remotely across different legal systems. Responsibilities β’ Advise client companies on employment-related matters such as hiring, terminations, disciplinary processes, workplace policies, and internal HR procedures β’ Draft, review, and revise employment contracts, policies, and compliance documentation β’ Support clients in resolving workplace disputes, including mediations, internal investigations, and formal legal proceedings where applicable β’ Provide timely, business-focused legal advice across diverse employment law jurisdictions, based on the clientβs location and applicable law β’ Conduct research and stay updated on key developments in employment law in common law jurisdictions (e.g., UK, Canada, US, Australia preferred) β’ Collaborate with HR professionals, legal departments, and business leaders in client organizations β’ Work independently and communicate clearly in a remote legal services environment Skills β’ Undergraduate degree in Law and admission to practice in at least one common law jurisdiction (e.g., UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, US, South Africa) β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment/labor law practice β’ Demonstrated expertise in employment contract drafting, compliance, and employment dispute management β’ Familiarity with global or cross-border employment law is highly desirable β’ Strong communication, research, and legal drafting skills β’ Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a remote working environment β’ Experience with legal tech tools or document management systems is a plus Benefits β’ Opportunity for 100% remote work.
