They are seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Lawyer to advise on employment and labor law matters, including contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution, while working remotely across different legal systems. Responsibilities • Advise client companies on employment-related matters such as hiring, terminations, disciplinary processes, workplace policies, and internal HR procedures • Draft, review, and revise employment contracts, policies, and compliance documentation • Support clients in resolving workplace disputes, including mediations, internal investigations, and formal legal proceedings where applicable • Provide timely, business-focused legal advice across diverse employment law jurisdictions, based on the client’s location and applicable law • Conduct research and stay updated on key developments in employment law in common law jurisdictions (e.g., UK, Canada, US, Australia preferred) • Collaborate with HR professionals, legal departments, and business leaders in client organizations • Work independently and communicate clearly in a remote legal services environment Skills • Undergraduate degree in Law and admission to practice in at least one common law jurisdiction (e.g., UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, US, South Africa) • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment/labor law practice • Demonstrated expertise in employment contract drafting, compliance, and employment dispute management • Familiarity with global or cross-border employment law is highly desirable • Strong communication, research, and legal drafting skills • Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a remote working environment • Experience with legal tech tools or document management systems is a plus Benefits • Opportunity for 100% remote work.
