They are seeking an Environmental Engineering Supervisor to conduct environmental assessments and remediation while managing a team of professionals to ensure successful project outcomes. Responsibilities β’ Serve as a project manager or technical lead on assigned projects β’ Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance β’ Deliver high-quality work, delivering projects on time, to the specified quality objectives, and within budget β’ Solves complex, novel, and challenging issues that often require the development of new or improved techniques β’ Apply advanced understanding of engineering concepts, industry knowledge, and technical capabilities β’ Lead and contribute to the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and interviews to win new projects β’ Negotiations experience with clients and California environmental regulatory agencies β’ Lead, mentor, and manage a team of environmental engineers β’ Assign tasks, monitor and provide staff with feedback on performance, and provide professional development opportunities for staff members β’ Ensure team members follow organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards β’ Make sure team members have access to the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed β’ Act as the primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients β’ Work closely with technical, marketing, and leadership to align staff efforts with overall company goals β’ Leverage professional networks to generate leads and partnerships Skills β’ BS in geology or related field and 6 years of experience and/or combination of experience and education β’ Successful candidates will pass a background check, motor vehicle records check β’ Due to the nature of the work, a US citizen or approved to work in the US is required β’ Master's Degree β’ 10+ years related experience β’ California Professional Engineer β’ 6 years in a technical discipline with 2 years of line management Benefits β’ Medical β’ Dental β’ Vision β’ Life β’ AD&D β’ Disability benefits β’ Paid time off β’ Leaves of absences β’ Voluntary benefits β’ Perks β’ Flexible work options β’ Well-being resources β’ Employee assistance program β’ Business travel insurance β’ Service recognition awards β’ Retirement savings plan β’ Employee stock purchase plan Company Overview β’ AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets.
