Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Seneca Resources is a staffing and consulting firm that partners with various organizations. They are seeking a highly skilled Epic Cogito Developer / Reporting Analyst to design, build, and optimize their enterprise analytics ecosystem, working closely with Data Warehouse and Analytics teams to develop advanced reports and dashboards.
- Responsibilities
- Build, support, and optimize Epic Cogito reports, dashboards, metrics, and Workbench tools
- Partner with Data Warehouse engineers to drive Epic-to-EDW integrations, data validation, and reporting optimization
- Troubleshoot issues related to Epic data, user access, workflows, and performance
- Support implementation, upgrades, and go-live activities, including validation, cutover readiness, and post‑go-live stabilization
- Maintain clear documentation and follow established change control and development lifecycle processes
- Serve as a trusted subject matter expert, providing mentorship to a 30‑person analytics and data warehouse team on Epic data structures and reporting best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, revenue cycle, technical, and reporting teams to translate requirements into meaningful reporting solutions
- Skills
- Epic Cogito certification (required)
- Hands-on experience with Epic reporting tools such as Workbench, dashboards, and Cogito metrics
- Strong understanding of Epic workflows, Chronicles, and data structures
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions
- Experience supporting Epic implementations or go-lives; Cerner-to-Epic experience is a plus
- Additional Epic certifications: Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, RWB
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Spark, or modern cloud analytics platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing, SQL, and ETL concepts
- Background in healthcare analytics, informatics, or clinical reporting
