As an Estimate Share Adjuster, you will provide exceptional customer service, conduct virtual inspections of vehicle damage, write repair estimates, negotiate settlements, and ensure accurate documentation throughout the claims process. Responsibilities Provide a superior level of customer service and attention to customers who have a vehicle that needs repaired Virtually inspect damage to a vehicle Write damage repair estimates Complete total loss valuations Negotiate moderately complex and occasionally complex settlements with repair facilities, tow yards, customers Estimate repair times for rental/loss of use Confidently and independently investigate casualty claims Perform detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage Use phone, emails and sometimes even video chat with customers Help them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process Incorporate a specific approach to claim handling Offer the customer their preference of communication Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants Utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment Execute policies along policy agreements Keep a clear record of your work in a claims system Ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claim Summarize documents and enters into claim system notes Document a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process May work the Triage Tool and partners with the Good Hands Repair Network Investigate moderately complex or occasionally complex files Review damage, take photos, and determines reparability or total loss Prepare damage estimates or valuation for moderately complex or occasionally complex claims Locate parts Evaluate diminished value in a moderately complex or occasionally complex claim Triage moderately complex and occasionally complex total loss claims Initiate payments and pays appropriate parties Respond to moderately complex and occasionally complex arbitrations contentions Skills Ability to provide a superior level of customer service and attention to customers Experience in virtually inspecting damage to a vehicle Ability to write damage repair estimates Ability to complete total loss valuations Ability to negotiate moderately complex and occasionally complex settlements Ability to estimate repair times for rental/loss of use Ability to investigate casualty claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies Ability to communicate effectively using phone, emails, and video chat Ability to evaluate and negotiate claims settlements Ability to utilize multiple tools in a fast-paced environment Ability to execute policies along policy agreements Ability to maintain timely and accurate documentation in a claims system Ability to obtain an adjuster's license in multiple markets within 60 days of hire Ability to maintain all licensing required for the role 18 months or more experience writing auto collision estimates Prior experience using an auto estimating program such as: CCC One Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Allstate pension plan and 401(k) savings plan Ayco financial coaching Spring Health mental and emotional wellbeing resources Paid parental leave Adoption reimbursement Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Wellness incentives Allstate Foundation donation match and grant opportunities Company Overview Allstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
