As a Field Service Technician, you will enhance the client experience by managing a multi zip-code territory, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and ensuring clients are trained on using Pitney Bowes technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage a multi zip‑ ‑code territory within 2 hours of Cincinnati, Ohio, with up to 80% driving time
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues to reduce downtime and callbacks
- Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping & Mailing equipment, ensuring clients are fully trained and confident in their use
- Use hand tools and small power tools to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
Skills
- Enjoy working with and repairing mechanical or electrical components
- Are comfortable with significant driving time and working independently in the field
- Are you motivated by the opportunity to earn additional income through service and parts sales
- Can lift 55+ lbs. and bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods
- Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- Are familiar with Windows, PCs, and basic networking
- Have experience with automated or electro-mechanical equipment
