They are seeking a Field Service Technician who will provide service and support for shipping and mailing technology, ensuring a positive client experience through installation, troubleshooting, and training.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment for our clients
- Support both Hardware and Software solutions
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment successfully with the goal of reducing Client callbacks
- Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at the time of installation
- Work in a 100% client facing capacity as a representative of Pitney Bowes
- Cover a multi-zip code territory requiring significant windshield time
- Utilize hand tools or small power tools to execute repairs, maintenance, and installations of Pitney Bowes Shipping and Mailing equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Skills
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation
- The ability to lift 55 lbs + with or without accommodation
- The ability to travel within a multi-zip code territory with up to 80% windshield time
- The ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods of time
- Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic knowledge of PC and Networking
- Experience with automated equipment
