They are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Evaluations Analyst to prepare FIRREA-compliant evaluations of commercial real estate collateral, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards. Responsibilities Prepare FIRREA-compliant commercial real estate evaluations for lending, credit, and portfolio management purposes Analyze income-producing and owner-occupied commercial properties including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, mixed-use, and special-purpose assets Perform market research and analysis, including rent comps, sales comps, cap rates, absorption trends, and market conditions Apply appropriate valuation methodologies (income, sales comparison, cost approaches) consistent with regulatory guidance Maintain adherence to Interagency Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines, internal policies, and quality control standards Clearly document assumptions, conclusions, and risk considerations in written reports Meet established turnaround times while maintaining high-quality analytical standards Skills 1-3+ years of experience in commercial real estate performing appraiser or non-appraiser evaluations Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis Excellent written communication skills with the ability to concisely explain valuation concepts High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with CRE data sources (e.g., CoStar,) preferred Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field Prior experience within a financial institution, appraisal management company, or valuation advisory firm Benefits Remote, hybrid and flexible work arrangements Supporting your professional development through career ladders, training programs, and continuing education Company Overview Nova Group, GBC is an international, multidisciplinary advising firm providing environmental, engineering and energy services throughout North America and around the globe.
