Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. State Group Automation is a leading provider of turnkey automation solutions, specializing in advanced robotic systems. They are seeking a Controls Engineer with specific Ford BIW Start-Up Experience to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Promote and comply with all safety standards
Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
Support electrical and software design as needed
Configure interference zones, I/O, and vision systems
Perform robot setup including mastering, TCP, payload, and offline programs
Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
Work with Fanuc robots (required); experience with ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki, and Nachi is an asset
Apply experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
Utilize Fanuc DCS building tool models and confirm adequate setup per customer standards

2–5 years of experience as a Ford BIW Robotics Start-Up Engineer
Must Have experience in the automotive Ford standards (Next Gen/GVOSS)
Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering or programming field
Extensive commissioning experience in automotive body shop environment
Ability to travel to customer sites across North America and Canada
Valid passport and driver's license
Eligibility for a TN Visa
Experience with Fanuc robots
Experience with ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki, and Nachi
Experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
