We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Item Designer to join our Development Notices Group at Workwarp, a partner of Netflix. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of Netflix's customer base and revenue through innovative product development and experimentation.

- Position: Full Stack Item Designer
As a Full Stack Item Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing features that enhance the Netflix product experience, leveraging experimentation (A/B testing) to drive growth and revenue. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, data science, and engineering, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing features that drive customer engagement and revenue growth
- Collaborating with engineers to enable product experiences across Android, iOS, web, and TV platforms
- Developing product experiences using email as a key channel, leveraging existing in-house email frameworks
- Working with backend systems, including core registration services, infrastructure, personalization, and content management teams
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Required Skills:
- Experience with customer-facing application development using experimentation (A/B testing)
- Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented languages
- Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Front-end web development experience (CSS, Sass/LESS, modern JS frameworks)
- Experience writing SQL queries on large data platforms (SparkSQL, Voila, Hive, etc.)
- Ability to design and develop natural and extensible APIs
- Experience creating reusable, templated systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience building backend systems to power frontend experiences
- Experience working with product development teams
- Experience building streams using various channels (push, SMS, messaging apps, in-product messaging)
- Experience with localization systems and ICU formatting
- Experience with responsive and interactive HTML and/or AMP email development
- Experience building large-scale, highly scalable gRPC services
