The role involves building and evolving frontend systems using React and designing Python backends, along with managing PostgreSQL databases and deploying services on AWS infrastructure.
- Responsibilities
- Build and evolve frontend systems using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks
- Design and ship Python backends including secure, high performance APIs and services
- Own PostgreSQL data modeling, queries, migrations, and performance optimization
- Integrate internal and external APIs to support core product workflows
- Deploy and operate services on AWS infrastructure
- Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, observability, and documentation
- Communicate clearly in a fast moving, async, remote team environment
- Skills
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Solid backend experience in Python with modern frameworks
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and performance
- Experience deploying and running production systems on AWS
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in remote teams
