Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 1Phi Inc is a health tech startup developing an AI-powered healthcare navigator called 1Sage. The Healthcare Data Scientist will define predictive models and perform exploratory analytics on medical claims data to enhance patient-facing applications and collaborate with engineers to enable MVPs from analysis to model deployment. Responsibilities • Define descriptive statistics and predictive models that run on medical claims data to enable patient-facing applications. • Perform exploratory analytics and develop specifications that enable patients to learn which treatment options and providers might be the most relevant to their specific situation. • Enable MVPs from initial analysis to model deployment by collaborating with data engineer, AI engineer, and full stack developer. Skills • 2+ years working with healthcare claims data (especially Medicare, Medicaid, and prescriptions), statistics and ML • Mastery over claims data interpretation and analysis, including cohort design, risk adjustment, treatment pathway definition, survival analysis, outcomes modeling.
