JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description A-Line staffing is looking for multiple HEDIS Reviewers for a client that is looking to move fast for the right candidate! Description: 4+ years of HEDIS Experience Medical Record Review (MRR) Abstractors MRR PROJECT: The assignment will encompass medical record review, including data collection from provider offices and abstraction of those records utilizing NCQA HEDIS Technical specifications to optimize health plan HEDIS® scores. Medical record review also consists of abstraction from electronic medical records and/or abstraction from faxed/mailed medical records. Training will be provided prior to the start of the assignment. Duties Include: • Locate and review all assigned medical charts and perform abstraction of charts sent in by providers. • Perform complete and accurate review of qualifying services and results into HEDIS® electronic database software and other duties as assigned. • Conduct Non-Responder Calls to provider offices to request medical records. Requirements: • Ability to read and interpret medical records • Professional demeanor and good work ethic • Ability to communicate information accurately, clearly, and as intended to management and co-workers • Possess excellent communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of staff • Conscientious problem solver, willing to learn, takes personal pride in their work performance/accuracy • Familiarity with how to use a lap top computer, connect to the internet and VPN, as well as in the use of a USB flash drive, CD drive, copier, and scanner. A strong working knowledge of bolthires Office products needed, as well as basic computer skills. Secure home network required. • Demonstrate ability to successfully prioritize and organize a high volume of work to meet deadlines • Position is REMOTE • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. • Attend weekly and as needed department meetings Critical Requirements: • Successfully complete Medical Record Reviewer training and Inter-Rater Reliability Testing at 95%, as well as complete HEDIS software training and use software correctly to facilitate accurate reporting and ongoing progress of the annual HEDIS project • Must commit to duration of the project – cannot take another job elsewhere and abandon the assignment • Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the position • Must keep all information collected in a safe, organized and confidential manner • Be able to work 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday • Candidate must commit to a full 40-hour training week Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
