They are seeking an HR Generalist / Payroll Specialist to support clients in HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and payroll processing, acting as the primary contact for assigned clients. Responsibilities β€’ Serve as the main HR and payroll point of contact for client accounts β€’ Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including variable pay or adjustments β€’ Manage employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, offboarding, changes in compensation, and status changes β€’ Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance across local/state regulations β€’ Support benefits administration (open enrollment, new hires, terminations, status updates) β€’ Create and update HR documentation including SOPs, checklists, and templates β€’ Respond to employee HR/payroll inquiries and provide issue resolution β€’ Track time and attendance to ensure payroll accuracy β€’ Coordinate with finance, management, and external vendors as needed Skills β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. β€’ 3–5 years of experience in HR operations and payroll processing. β€’ Experience working with HRIS or payroll systems (Rippling, ADP, Paychex, Gusto, etc.). β€’ Understanding of payroll cycles, time tracking, deductions, garnishments, and final pay. β€’ Strong organizational and communication skills. β€’ Ability to interpret and apply HR and payroll policies accurately. β€’ Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage multiple clients. β€’ Experience supporting multi-state payroll in the U.S. β€’ Experience working in a BPO or consulting environment. β€’ Knowledge of benefits admin processes (open enrollment, qualifying life events). β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities. β€’ Comfort working with checklists, documentation libraries, and SOPs.
