The role of HR Generalist/Business Partner involves engaging in HR consulting practices, managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Responsibilities β€’ Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. β€’ Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, source and screen candidates, conduct interviews, and facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires. β€’ Support the performance review process by coaching managers on goal-setting, feedback delivery, and performance improvement plans; ensure alignment with organizational goals. β€’ Identify training needs, coordinate employee development programs, and promote continuous learning to enhance workforce skills and career growth. β€’ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO) and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR regulations; assist in maintaining employee records and HR documentation. β€’ Work closely with leadership to understand business objectives, provide HR insights, and implement strategies that support talent management, workforce planning, and organizational growth. β€’ Administer employee benefits programs, assist with open enrollment, and respond to employee questions; collaborate on compensation analysis and benchmarking as needed. β€’ Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by organizing employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities. β€’ Participate in or lead special projects such as policy updates, HR system implementations, diversity and inclusion efforts, or process improvements. Skills β€’ 1+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or Business Partner role. β€’ Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices. β€’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. β€’ Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. β€’ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail. β€’ Professional certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required. Education Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
