IStream Solutions is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role involves assisting users with hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the organization. Responsibilities Manage computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and other security measures Assist with software installation, updates, and troubleshooting for applications such as bolthires Office and other enterprise tools Support IT infrastructure maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and security Document incidents and resolutions accurately using BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and user support services Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and provide clear solutions Skills Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles within an IT environment Strong knowledge of computer management, hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) Familiarity with computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security protocols Experience working with help desk tools such as ServiceNow or Jira for incident management Knowledge of IT support best practices related to software troubleshooting and hardware maintenance Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with non-technical users Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards (M365 OR "bolthires 365") AND (Azure OR "Azure AD") AND (SSO) AND ("Power Automate" OR "Power BI") Manage computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and other security measures Assist with software installation, updates, and troubleshooting for applications such as bolthires Office and other enterprise tools Support IT infrastructure maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and security Document incidents and resolutions accurately using BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and user support services Communicate effectively with users to understand issues and provide clear solutions Company Overview At IStream we provide strategic IT Consulting, Staffing, Training and Business Information Technology solutions by putting right expertise with focus on best practices, organizing the intellectual capital of company and implementation plan to dominate next generation of IT consulting and services.
