BD&J Injury Lawyers is a leading personal injury law firm based in Los Angeles, seeking a detail-oriented Junior WordPress Website Developer to support their Marketing team. The role involves front-end website development and optimization, primarily using WordPress to create and update web pages that align with brand standards. Responsibilities • Build and design WordPress pages that stay consistent with brand standards • Develop new and update existing web pages to support marketing campaigns • Implement responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and Avada WordPress theme tools • Ability to design layouts “in browser” following similar layouts • Ability to design “in-browser” to recreate established layouts for new pages • Support light back-end development tasks when needed • Work across multiple firm websites and digital properties Skills • Minimum 2 years of experience in website development and design • Proficiency in WordPress, including common plugins • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS • Experience working with the Avada WordPress theme • Familiarity with PHP and JavaScript • Understanding of SEO best practices • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design direction • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, etc.) • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment • Experience building marketing or lead generation websites • Experience with page speed optimization and performance improvements • Additional WordPress back-end development experience Benefits • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Opportunity for advancement into a full-time role • Collaborative and supportive team environment • Direct impact on high-traffic, high-conversion websites Company Overview • BD&J represents victims dealing with injuries, death of a family member, or other difficulties caused by the negligence or wrongful acts of another.
