Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GovCIO is currently hiring for an entry-level proposal writer to join our dynamic team of growth professionals. The role involves creating compliant and compelling proposal content, collaborating with team members, and ensuring accuracy in alignment with overall proposal strategy.

Responsibilities

Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing the solicitation requirements and working as part of a team
Uses critical thinking skills to iteratively develop content using best practices such as storyboarding
Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule
Collaborates with other proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned written sections
Ensures accuracy of data and alignment of assigned section with overall proposal strategy and messaging
Will serve as a past performance or resume writer covering multiple contracts or candidates
Other duties as assigned

Skills

Bachelor's with 1-3 years (or commensurate experience)
Experience responding to Government solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, etc
Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections in response to Government solicitations in support of a variety of departments and agencies (Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC)
Experience writing and tailoring content for non-technical proposal sections (e.g., past performance, resumes) for a wide variety of IT solutions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment
Some experience writing for government proposals valued at $25M and greater
