They are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to support operations at a software development hub with a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Streamline the software development life cycle from requirements to production monitoring Incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to improve workflow efficiency Implement continuous integration and delivery to reduce manual testing and troubleshooting Identify and build solutions to meet customer challenges Support Linux systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, software development, or system administration Administer container platforms such as Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or EKS Develop infrastructure as code and custom automation scripts using Ansible, Python, Bash, or Terraform Work with complex build systems Skills US citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S Residency in the US for at least the past 3 consecutive years (36 months) Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree At least 1 year of experience supporting Linux systems engineering At least 1 year of experience administering container platforms (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, EKS) At least 1 year of experience with advanced scripting languages and automation tools (Ansible, Python, Bash, Terraform) Experience with complex build systems Knowledge of Agile methodologies or software development life cycle (SDLC) Experience developing back-end software applications Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure for automated DevSecOps pipelines Experience with Opensearch cluster configuration and index lifecycle management Knowledge of security scanning tools and vulnerability remediation Knowledge of Java Benefits 401K matching Customized health plans Dental and vision insurance Life insurance Short and long-term disability coverage Incentives program to recognize exceptional performance Competitive base salaries Company Overview RemoteHunter is your dedicated AI job search assistant, turning the job hunt from a slow, individual effort into a quicker, smarter, and guided experience by streamlining each step of the process and speeding up your path to the right career opportunities.
