You will design engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a nurturing classroom culture—all from the comfort of your home office. You will also partner closely with parents, support staff, and district leadership to ensure each child achieves academic and social milestones.Key Responsibilities• Curriculum Design & Delivery: Create, adapt, and deliver daily lesson plans that meet Louisiana state standards and district curricula, incorporating hands‑on activities, digital tools, and differentiated instruction for diverse learning styles.• Student Engagement & Assessment: Facilitate interactive virtual sessions, monitor student participation, and use formative and summative assessments to track progress, providing timely feedback to students and families.• Individualized Learning Plans: Identify and support students with varying needs by developing personalized learning objectives, accommodations, and interventions.• Collaboration & Communication: Maintain regular, transparent communication with parents/guardians via email, video conferences, and digital newsletters; collaborate with grade‑level teams, special‑education staff, and district coaches to align instructional practices.• Classroom Management (Virtual & Hybrid): Establish clear expectations, routines, and positive behavior reinforcement strategies to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive online learning environment.• Data Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record attendance, grades, assessment data, and other required documentation in the district’s data system, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, district‑wide webinars, and professional learning communities to stay current with early‑childhood best practices and emerging educational technologies.• Supervision of Support Personnel: Mentor and coordinate activities of instructional assistants, student teachers, and volunteers, ensuring alignment with lesson objectives and classroom procedures.• Emergency & Safety Protocols: Follow district emergency procedures for virtual environments, promptly reporting any concerns such as suspected abuse, cyber‑bullying, or technical issues that affect student safety.Essential Qualifications• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field.• Certification: Valid Louisiana teaching certificate with endorsement for Kindergarten (K‑3) instruction.• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience at the kindergarten level; experience with remote or hybrid instruction is highly desirable.• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using learning management systems (e.g., Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams), interactive whiteboards, video‑conferencing tools, and basic productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; adept at building relationships with families and colleagues.• Professional Conduct: Demonstrated adherence to ethical standards, district policies, and a commitment to cultural competence and equity.Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets• Advanced degree or certification in Special Education, Literacy, or STEM for early learners.• Experience with differentiated instruction frameworks such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL).• Familiarity with data‑driven instruction and ability to interpret assessment results to tailor teaching strategies.• Proven track record of integrating technology to enhance student engagement and achievement.• Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French) to better serve multilingual families.Core Skills & Competencies for Success• Instructional Design: Ability to craft engaging, s
