They are seeking a Legal Administrative Support professional to provide clerical and administrative assistance to the Help Center Legal Affairs Branch, requiring a general knowledge of health care service plans and the ability to work independently under pressure. Responsibilities Providing a variety of clerical duties in support of the LAB ACCs Performing difficult administrative and clerical work Assisting LAB ACCs and staff with various tasks Exercising a high degree of initiative, confidentiality, good judgment, and independence Performing support duties with minimal supervision and at times working under pressure to meet deadlines Skills General knowledge of health care service plans pursuant to the Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 (KKA) and Title 28 of the California Code of Regulations, Evidence of Coverages, and program policies and procedures Ability to consistently exercise a high degree of initiative, confidentiality, good judgment, and independence Ability to perform support duties with minimal supervision and at times work under pressure to meet deadlines Regular and punctual attendance Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment Submission of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) with the application Provide excellent customer service Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing and possess good interpersonal skills Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and flexibility Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Excellent attendance and dependability Ability to work in a team environment Work experience in health care, insurance, and/or law preferable Knowledge and skill with PCs, i.e., bolthires Word, Excel, Database Systems, Adobe etc Company Overview
