Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Life Changing Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on promoting emotional well-being and facilitating positive change. The LCSW will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in both clinical and community settings. Responsibilities β€’ Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. β€’ Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. β€’ Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergency situations. β€’ Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. β€’ Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients, including referrals to external services as needed. β€’ Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and other relevant topics. β€’ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care across various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community organizations. β€’ Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving treatment outcomes and advancing knowledge in social work practices. β€’ Stay informed about current trends in social work, mental health counseling, and related fields through continuous professional development. Requirements β€’ Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; current LCSW licensure is required. β€’ Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or behavioral therapy with a focus on children and families is preferred. β€’ Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient medical documentation and data collection. β€’ Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and experience with medical records management. β€’ Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is a plus. β€’ Strong understanding of crisis management techniques and the ability to provide effective crisis intervention. β€’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. β€’ Commitment to ethical practice standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
