Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Life Changing Solutions, LLC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on promoting emotional well-being and facilitating positive change. The LCSW will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care in both clinical and community settings. Responsibilities β’ Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. β’ Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. β’ Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergency situations. β’ Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. β’ Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients, including referrals to external services as needed. β’ Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and other relevant topics. β’ Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care across various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and community organizations. β’ Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving treatment outcomes and advancing knowledge in social work practices. β’ Stay informed about current trends in social work, mental health counseling, and related fields through continuous professional development. Requirements β’ Masterβs degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; current LCSW licensure is required. β’ Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or behavioral therapy with a focus on children and families is preferred. β’ Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient medical documentation and data collection. β’ Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and experience with medical records management. β’ Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is a plus. β’ Strong understanding of crisis management techniques and the ability to provide effective crisis intervention. β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. β’ Commitment to ethical practice standards as outlined by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
