The Marketing Planning Operations Manager will partner with the Marketing Leadership Team to align strategic priorities, manage cross-functional initiatives, and drive operational excellence across all marketing functions. Responsibilities β€’ Partner with the Marketing Leadership Team to support prioritization and decision-making with data-driven insights and benchmarks β€’ Run the cadence of business: facilitate leadership meetings, set agendas, capture outcomes, assign owners, and track follow-up actions β€’ Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews across the marketing leadership team β€’ Lead the annual planning process across the marketing team, ensuring interlock with business stakeholders β€’ Lead and monitor progress on strategic initiatives, escalating risks or roadblocks as needed β€’ Prepare executive-ready updates, briefings, and communications that distill complex information into actionable insights. Strong presentation and written communication skills are essential β€’ Support the tracking and management of the marketing budget, in line with organizational priorities for functional and channel allocation β€’ Develop and maintain standardized marketing processes, documentation, and best practices for scalability and efficiency β€’ Own the administration and adoption of marketing project management tools (e.g., Wrike), ensuring visibility into priorities, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies β€’ Establish governance for campaign and program planning, execution, and reporting across marketing β€’ Partner with marketing leaders to optimize workflows, improve resource allocation, and streamline cross-functional collaboration β€’ Implement AI and automation tools to improve project tracking, reporting, and operational insights β€’ Deliver dashboards and reports that measure program performance and marketing’s contribution to business outcomes β€’ Champion a culture of accountability, operational rigor, and continuous improvement within the marketing team Skills β€’ 7+ years in marketing operations, project/program management, or a related marketing leadership role β€’ Proven success balancing strategic planning with operational execution β€’ Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams β€’ Expertise in marketing process design, governance, and performance measurement β€’ Strong presentation and storytelling skills for executive audiences β€’ Familiarity with marketing technology and project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Monday.com) β€’ Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and manage complex initiatives β€’ Experience with AI-enabled tools for marketing efficiency β€’ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field β€’ B2B SaaS or technology industry experience β€’ PMP certification or equivalent project/program management experience β€’ Change management expertise and process improvement skills β€’ Agency/vendor management experience β€’ Knowledge of marketing compliance and data governance best practices β€’ Certifications in project management, marketing operations, or analytics (preferred) β€’ Ongoing professional development in marketing leadership and operational excellence Company Overview β€’ Avetta is a software company that offers a cloud-based platform for commercial marketplaces and supply chain risk management.
