Job Description
We’re seeking a Senior Mirth Integration Developer to support a high-impact healthcare data integration initiative. This role will focus on building foundational capabilities for a new integration framework, with a go-live planned for January. The developer will be responsible for parsing healthcare data, developing message flows, and supporting multiple formats across 100+ interfaces.
Responsibilities Include
Gather requirements and develop Mirth-based solutions to extract, transform, and route healthcare data
Build and support HL7 interfaces between EMRs, labs, and facilities
Implement monitoring, alerting, and platform hardening for Mirth in production—this is not optional
Work hands-on with Mirth Connect to support real-time data exchange and logging
Develop and support RESTful APIs using FHIR over JSON
Contribute to predictive modeling efforts using random forest, logistic regression, linear regression, and XGBoost
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data integrity
Jump in immediately and begin contributing—this is a fast-moving, hands-on role

Skills And Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience with Mirth Connect in a production environment
Strong knowledge of HL7 messaging, healthcare data formats, and EMR integration
Experience with FHIR APIs, JSON, and RESTful architecture
Solid understanding of data parsing, logging, and transformation workflows
Familiarity with machine learning models (random forest, logistic regression, etc.) null
