In this role, you'll support an experienced team by managing key parts of the borrower experience and ensuring loan files are prepared for processing. Responsibilities Guide borrowers through intake and early file setup with clear next steps and fast responses Collect, organize, and review documentation for completeness, consistency, and program fit Identify loan program options that match borrower needs and align with loan risk Confirm the file is structured to support the selected loan program and pricing strategy Coordinate clean handoffs and timelines with the processing team Track milestones, follow-bolthires, and potential bottlenecks to keep files moving Log key communications for team visibility and smooth collaboration Originate, structure, and manage loans sourced through personal relationships and referrals Skills Strong communicator who is comfortable speaking with borrowers and real estate partners Organized and detail-oriented, with a high standard for accuracy and follow-through Problem solver who can think independently and ask for support when needed Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple files and deadlines Solutions-focused with a consistent 'how can this be done' mindset Benefits Medical/dental/vision Paid holidays Paid time off Maternity leave Life insurance Short- and long-term disability 401K with company match Discount on home mortgage refinances or purchases Company Overview Lower provides home refinancing, customer service, consumer lending, home purchase, and financial services.
