Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AT&T is a trusted provider of secure, IP enabled, cloud-based, network solutions and professional services to the Federal Government. The Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst provides remote support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting a large network infrastructure. Responsibilities β’ Provide alarm monitoring/response, any needed escalation and resolution of incidents and mentoring of junior analysts through incident resolution process β’ Troubleshoot network systems when necessary and make improvements to the network β’ Take technical lead of critical network incidents and drive internal and external resources in troubleshooting efforts β’ Manage and administer a range of network operations tools applications to include Juniper firewalls, Cisco Firewalls, Cisco WLAN, Extreme Management Center (XMC) and Extreme NAC β’ Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses problems and factors affecting network performance β’ Experience with operating and maintaining a Software-defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) architecture β’ Experience working with cloud-based networks β’ Support all operational security requirements for network devices and network operations tools applications β’ Support of the following NOC functional areas that include, but are not limited to: β’ Wireless LAN β’ Firewall management β’ Internet Protocol (IP) address management β’ Domain Name Server (DNS) administration Understand dynamic multipoint VPNs β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills β’ Establish plans and goals for self that meet the customer current or future projectβs needs β’ Prepare or participate in preparing NOC performance reports as required β’ Monitor, create, edit, and enforce all standard operating procedures, processes and timelines Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience β’ 5 years of experience in IT support or related field, preferability in network engineering or operations β’ 2 years of experience providing network support in one or more of the following areas: Juniper SRX Firewalls configuration, troubleshooting, Policy configuration, Wireless Access Point (enterprise level) Management and Administration, Cisco ISE 3.0 (or later) configuration of access/authorization policies β’ Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP certification, required within 60 days of start β non-waivable β’ At least one of the following networking certifications by day one of hire: Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions v2.0 (300-415), AWS Certified Solutions Architect β Associate, Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700), CompTIA Cloud+ β’ Experience troubleshooting and fixing LAN/WAN network incidents β’ Availability to work first, second, or third shift hours (generally 9PM to 7AM) and weekends to support mission requirements β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process β’ Experience using and managing SPLUNK search heads β’ Experience in Windows 2012 or higher and/or Linux server administration β’ Cisco CCNP certification β’ Juniper JNCIA-SEC certification β’ Extreme certifications covering switching or network access control β’ Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance if required Benefits β’ Medical/Dental/Vision coverage β’ 401(k) plan β’ Tuition reimbursement program β’ Paid Time Off and Holidays (based on date of hire, at least 23 days of vacation each year and 9 company-designated holidays) β’ Paid Parental Leave β’ Paid Caregiver Leave β’ Additional sick leave beyond what state and local law require may be available but is unprotected β’ Adoption Reimbursement β’ Disability Benefits (short term and long term) β’ Life and Accidental Death Insurance β’ Supplemental benefit programs: critical illness/accident hospital indemnity/group legal β’ Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) β’ Extensive employee wellness programs β’ Employee discounts up to 50% off on eligible AT&T mobility plans and accessories, AT&T internet (and fiber where available) and AT&T phone Company Overview β’ AT&T is a telecommunications company that provides wireless communications, internet and digital television services.
