Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a school setting in Tulsa, OK, through the remainder of the academic year. This position involves delivering tailored services to a 5th grade student with mobility challenges.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting weekly telehealth or in-person OT sessions, approximately one hour per week
- Assisting with mobility and feeding support, ensuring the student's comfort and safety during school hours
- Observing and documenting the student’s progress and any changes in condition or abilities
- Collaborating with educators and caregivers to adjust interventions based on evolving needs
- Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid OT licensure with experience in school-based therapy
- Proficiency in teletherapy and home health OT services
- Comfort working one-on-one with students requiring mobility and feeding assistance
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within educational environments
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Duration: Remainder of the current school year
Schedule: Approximately 1 hour per week
