Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sentrilite is building a next-generation runtime observability + EDR/XDR platform powered by deep system telemetry and high-signal detections. They are looking for a hands-on Offensive Security Engineer / Pentester to design and execute penetration tests, conduct security assessments, and identify vulnerabilities across various infrastructures. The role involves simulating red team operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve organizational security posture.
- Responsibilities
- Perform real-world attack simulations across Linux, cloud, and container environments
- Develop custom exploit chains, privilege-escalation paths, and lateral-movement scenarios
- Validate detections, prevention logic, and automated response inside Sentrilite
- Build reusable offensive tooling and test frameworks for continuous security validation
- Work directly with the founder and core engineering team
- Skills
- Expertise in Reverse Engineering and Malware Analysis, with the ability to analyze binary files and code for vulnerabilities
- Proficiency in Application Security, identifying and mitigating security flaws in web applications and APIs
- Experience in Red Teaming and conducting simulations to uncover system and network vulnerabilities
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, including threat modeling, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence
- Familiarity with offensive security tools, scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.), and frameworks such as Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, or similar
- A strong understanding of cloud security concepts, Kubernetes environments, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- The ability to work independently in a remote environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, or GXPN
