They are seeking an Online Community Manager & Workshop Host to enhance member experiences by planning and hosting live online workshops and community sessions, while fostering engagement among music creators. Responsibilities β’ Be the face of the company via the Online Community and its live workshops β’ Greet, welcome, and prepare guest speakers for all live workshops β’ Host live online workshops and community sessions on camera β’ Introduce speakers, set expectations and hold the space for members during sessions β’ Share basic housekeeping and support information at the start and end of each event β’ Moderate live chat and interactions β’ Create and maintain an effective welcoming & onboarding experience for new members β’ Create and publish engaging posts to encourage discussion and interaction inside the online community β’ Support the Head of Community with daily moderation across platforms β’ Keep discussions active, kind and on topic β’ Flag member issues, risks or concerns quickly and clearly β’ Track and report on live attendance, engagement and basic feedback for each session β’ Share clear member insights and suggestions with the Online Community Team β’ Work proactively with teams across Musiversal to ensure each workshop has clear descriptions, thumbnails and member communications in place before it goes live β’ Take initiative on improvements to the online community experience and follow through on them Skills β’ Enjoy being on camera and are an empathetic & energetic communicator β’ Have star quality, but you enjoy making others feel like the real stars (a facilitator) β’ Have experience managing online communities like Facebook Groups, Discord servers, Circle, Bettermode or similar platforms β’ Are able to communicate clearly with members and help people feel welcome and included β’ Can identify community member objections and come up with strategies to address them β’ Can write clear, engaging copy across different formats and channels such as event descriptions, announcements, and emails β’ Are happy to get stuck in with day to day moderation, questions and member support β’ Are kind, honest and easy to collaborate with across teams β’ Are motivated by purpose and interested in helping musicians move forward β’ Are used to working in fast-paced environments where things can change quickly β’ You thrive in remote work settings and love the flexibility it brings β’ Have a background in music, or strong hands on experience as a musician or creator β’ You're passionate about music, tech, or creator communities β ideally, all three! β’ Are fluent in written and spoken English Benefits β’ Remote-first culture β work from anywhere within a 2 hour timezone difference to New York β’ Lisbon HQ β a vibrant cafΓ© with a private office, open whenever you want to drop in β β’ Flexible hours β whether itβs for your family, surf, or side project βοΈ β’ Musiversal Unlimited β full access to bring your own music to life β’ Yearly company retreat β a week of connection, fun, and creative recharging in an exotic location β’ Work with world-class team of awarded musicians, producers, and creatives β’ Be at the heart of Musiversalβs global community strategy β’ Purpose-driven mission β reshape how music is made and how musicians are paid Company Overview β’ Music Production Managed Marketplace It was founded in 2018, and is headquartered in Lisbon, Lisboa, PRT, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
