Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Modernize, a division of QuinStreet, aims to simplify home improvement by connecting homeowners with qualified contractors. The Operations Specialist Associate will work closely with various teams, manage contractor applications, and implement process improvements in the Finance space.
Responsibilities
- Vet contractors and evaluate fraud risks
- Submit contractor applications to multiple lenders and track progress
- Manage Salesforce cases that support expansion of existing business
- Perform recurring compliance audits (licenses, reβvetting, documentation)
- Communicate with lenders to obtain missing or clarifying submission details
- Collaborate internally with Sales and Account Management
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
- 1+ years of Accounting or Operations experience
- Salesforce, Excel aptitude required
- Ability to work autonomously and problem-solve
- Attention to detail and ability to spot risk
- Understanding of the Lending space a plus
