Paladin Security Group Ltd is dedicated to making the world a safer place and is seeking an Integrated Guarding Operator for their Operations Centre. The role involves remote video monitoring, quick decision-making during alarm events, and maintaining professionalism while working independently. Responsibilities Monitors analytics-based alerts, live video feeds, and camera health across multiple client sites Identifies and assesses security related incidents in real time and follows intervention and escalation protocols Utilizes the talkdown system to communicate remotely to deescalate the potentially threatening situations, maintaining confidence and authority Acts quickly and decisively when handling alarm events, take appropriate action and close the events with right outcomes Follows the set instructions for each site and ensure compliance with standard procedures Logs activities, mobile dispatches, and documents for all security-related events; accurately documents incidents, alarms and actions taken on reports for management and clients Communicates with emergency responders or clients during critical events Ensure that all necessary information is passed on to the next operator or shift in a clear, concise, and accurate manner Performs other duties as required to meet operational needs Skills Minimum of one (1) year of work experience as a Security Officer and/or in a monitoring dispatch environment Excellent situational awareness, judgement, and decision-making under pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently in an Operations Centre environment Comfortable with using security monitoring platforms and technology Ability to notice and act on small details that could be crucial in preventing security breaches Experience with Immix GF is considered an asset Company Overview As one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, boasting Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures, Paladin is Canada’s leading security company, with services and superior expertise that span all types of protection.
