Our client, a prominent healthcare provider, is seeking a PACS Support Analyst who will be responsible for providing system support to radiology end-users and troubleshooting system issues related to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Responsibilities β€’ Provide technical support to radiology users, including radiology staff, radiologists, physicians and other key stakeholders, ensuring seamless system functionality. β€’ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve PACS system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow and patient care. β€’ Address and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 support requests. β€’ Document support activities and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate records of issues, solutions, and follow-up actions. β€’ Work closely with internal IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve more complex issues that require higher-level expertise. β€’ Provide end-user training and guidance on system usage, best practices, and troubleshooting common issues. β€’ Collaborate with Radiology leadership and other departments to ensure system integration and optimization for clinical and operational needs. β€’ Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and proactively recommend improvements. β€’ Assist in system upgrades, implementations, and configuration changes as needed. β€’ Stay current on updates, patches, and enhancements to PACS systems, ensuring timely implementation and testing. Skills β€’ Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of PACS and medical imaging system workflows. β€’ Experience with eRAD PACS system. β€’ Experience with system integration, networking, and database management. β€’ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with end-users and IT teams effectively. β€’ Ability to provide clear documentation of technical issues and resolutions. β€’ Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist non-technical users in understanding complex issues. β€’ Ability to provide training and hands-on support during and after system implementations. β€’ Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple tasks efficiently. β€’ Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, and other healthcare communication standards. β€’ Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare IT security best practices. β€’ Experience working with EXA and Infinitt PACS systems is a plus, but not a must. Education Requirements β€’ Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
