Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. One80 Intermediaries is seeking a part-time SQL Developer who is a dedicated and experienced SSIS/SSRS expert to join their dynamic team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying high-quality SSIS packages and SSRS reports to provide insights to clients.
- Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize and deploy SSIS packages that integrate data from various sources into the company's databases and/or client extracts
- Create, modify, and optimize SSRS reports to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSIS packages and SSRS reports
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on SSIS and SSRS functionalities
- Document all development work and ensure that best practices are followed
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in SSIS/SSRS and implement them as necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide solutions
- Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices
- Knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Certification in Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with other BI tools like Power BI
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure
