Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sensiba LLP is a company focused on providing professional services, and they are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This role involves maintaining payroll records, assisting with 401(k) administration, preparing payroll reports, and responding to employee inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Support the Payroll Manager in processing bi-weekly U.S. payroll and monthly international payrolls
- Maintain accurate payroll records including timekeeping, deductions, benefits, and tax data
- Prepare payroll reports for internal review, audits, and compliance purposes
- Assist with 401(k) data entry, employee contributions, and compliance tracking
- Manage employee payroll inquiries through the ticketing system, resolving issues related to pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits
- Support payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including multi-state tax requirements
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve variances in a timely manner
- Assist with audits and special payroll projects as needed
Skills
- 1–3 years of payroll experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and payroll/HR systems
- Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting 401(k) or employee benefits administration
- Multi-state payroll experience
