The Credentialing & Enrollment Specialist facilitates and manages the credentialing and enrollment process from start to finish. This role requires a variety of tasks such as enrolling new providers, maintaining CAQH profiles, auditing payer directories, and adhering to HIPAA guidelines. It also involves daily communication with different parties including payers, internal teams, and providers.Responsibilities:
ΓΒ Enroll and revalidate providers with payers
ΓΒ Submit enrollment applications
ΓΒ Ensure timely application processing
ΓΒ follow up on application processing
ΓΒ Update provider information in databases
ΓΒ Manage CAQH profiles and facilitate re-attestations
ΓΒ Collaborate with teams and customers
ΓΒ Adhere to HIPAA guidelines
ΓΒ Audit and update payer directories
ΓΒ Verify enrollment status and instructions
ΓΒ Maintain provider information in databases
Qualifications:
Experience:
ΓΒ 2-4 years in credentialing
ΓΒ Healthcare sector experience
ΓΒ Customer Service and Revenue Cycle Management experience
ΓΒ Proficiency in CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS
Skills:
ΓΒ Task-oriented with strong attention to detail
ΓΒ Excellent in documentation and communication
ΓΒ Ability to prioritize, manage time, and work effectively both individually and in a team
