The Processing Specialist supports core HR processes by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing compassionate service related to benefits and life events.
Responsibilities
- Process condolence requests, including sending packages and updating employee records
- Validate and process POA documentation and L564 Medicare employment verification forms
- Assist with benefit appeals by collecting documentation and ensuring timely submission
- Maintain compliance records and support audits in alignment with QMSCO standards
- Provide empathetic and responsive support for life-event inquiries
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in HR operations or administrative support
- Basic understanding of benefits processes and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
