The role involves sourcing critical equipment, negotiating contracts, and managing supply chains to ensure timely and cost-efficient project delivery.
- Responsibilities
- Source equipment and services for power generation projects (e.g., solar panels, breakers, transformers)
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors for project components
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and key suppliers
- Oversee procurement to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Manage supply chain risks to minimize disruptions
- Collaborate with project teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets
- Maintain quality control for all procured goods and services
- Skills
- Heavy industry equipment procurement experience
- Expertise in negotiating contracts
- Experience managing supply chains
- Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
