This remote, part-time role involves editing AI-generated content for grammatical accuracy and conducting thorough fact-checking to ensure factual integrity. Responsibilities β’ Edit AI-generated responses for clarity, flow, tone, and strict adherence to grammatical rules, ensuring the output reads as if written by a professional human β’ Conduct comprehensive fact-checking of claims made by the AI, verifying names, dates, scientific data, and historical events against authoritative sources β’ Identify and correct "hallucinations" (instances where the AI confidently states false information), ensuring the model is provided with the correct facts and citations β’ Rewrite content that is factually accurate but poorly phrased to improve readability and user engagement β’ Evaluate the credibility of sources used by the AI (if applicable) and flag unreliable or biased information Skills β’ Proven experience in professional editing, copy editing, journalism, or research-heavy writing roles β’ Exceptional command of English grammar and style, with the ability to edit according to specific guides (e.g., AP Style, Chicago) β’ Strong research skills with the ability to quickly and accurately verify information across a wide range of topics β’ A healthy skepticism and an 'eagle eye' for detail, ensuring that no factual error or typo slips through β’ Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects Benefits β’ Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule.
