Technogen, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and execute automated tests for their enterprise Next Best Action platform. The role focuses on ensuring high release quality and system stability while collaborating with engineers to validate complex backend workflows. Responsibilities β’ Design, develop, and execute automated API and backend service tests using frameworks such as pytest, Postman/Newman, REST-assured, or equivalent β’ Build and maintain comprehensive regression, contract, and integration test suites for NBA backend workflows β’ Validate backend services, integrations, and decision logic for correctness, performance, and reliability β’ Integrate automated test execution into bolthires/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates and prevent regressions β’ Collaborate with backend and integration engineers to ensure seamless system operation and release readiness β’ Identify, log, and track defects; work with engineering teams to drive resolution and root-cause analysis β’ Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and testing strategies β’ Support release validation and post-release monitoring as needed β’ Document test plans, automation strategies, and test results Skills β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience β’ 8+ years of experience in QA automation or backend/API testing β’ 5+ years of experience with API test automation frameworks (pytest, Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent) β’ 3+ years of experience in testing RESTful services and backend workflows β’ 5+ years of experience in regression, contract, and integration testing concepts β’ 3+ years of experience in integrating automated tests into bolthires/CD pipelines β’ 3+ years of experience with version control systems and agile development practices β’ Experience testing decisioning, personalization, or recommendation platforms β’ Familiarity with Node.js and/or Pythonβbased backend services β’ Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka or equivalent) β’ Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, insurance, or financial services β’ Knowledge of performance or reliability testing tools β’ Familiarity with containerized or cloud-native environments Company Overview β’ Technogen, Inc.
