Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infoorigin Inc is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead with strong domain expertise in Life & Disability Insurance. The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts, manage test strategy, and ensure high-quality delivery across system implementations and enhancements.
- Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QA activities across the full project lifecycle
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategy, test plans, and test cases
- Drive end-to-end testing for Benefit Administration module implementations
- Plan and execute testing for data/system conversion activities, including validation of migrated data and reconciliation across legacy and target systems
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to validate requirements
- Perform Functional, System, Integration, Regression, and UAT support testing
- Ensure validation of eligibility, enrollment, billing, claims, and policy administration workflows
- Review requirements and identify gaps, ambiguities, and risk areas
- Track defects, manage defect triage meetings, and ensure timely resolution
- Mentor and guide QA team members
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation standards
- Support automation initiatives where applicable
- Skills
- 6+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role
- Strong domain experience in Life & Disability Insurance
- Hands-on experience in Benefit Administration module end-to-end implementation
- Experience in test planning and execution for system/data conversion projects
- Experience validating: Eligibility & Enrollment, Premium calculation, Billing & Payment processing, Claims integration, Policy lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience in writing SQL queries for backend validation
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in Life & Disability platforms such as Majesco, FINEOS, or similar systems
- Automation testing experience (Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience in data migration and integration testing
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman/Swagger)
