Job Description
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Labcorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Rep within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join their team. The role involves answering inbound calls from patients and resolving inquiries while maintaining performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers
- Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone
- Maintain performance goals
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more customer service experience
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and focused
- Perform successfully in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency navigating multiple computer screens and applications
- Alpha-Numeric data entry proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Energetic, passionate customer service
- Seek solutions to challenging patient billing issues
- 1 year or more call center experience
- 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits
- 1 year or more patient billing
