Insight Global is a company that provides staffing and consulting services, and they are seeking a Remote Financial Advisor to work within their Accounting Advisory group. The role involves helping clients prepare for audits, managing financial reporting deliverables, and translating complex accounting guidance for stakeholders. Responsibilities • Helping clients get audit‑ready—planning and executing readiness activities, building and tying‑out revenue (ASC 606) and lease (ASC 842) schedules, and drafting clear technical accounting memos • Partnering closely with client controllers and external auditors, managing organized workpapers and controls, and supporting financial reporting deliverables (10‑K/10‑Q/8‑K tie‑outs, disclosures, and footnotes) • Translating complex guidance for non‑accounting stakeholders, running status check‑ins, and driving issue resolution • Diving into stock‑based compensation (ASC 718), debt/equity, and business combinations (ASC 805) • Owning close activities, reconciliations, and client communications end‑to‑end Skills • 5 - 8 Years in Public Accounting, Preferably coming from a big 4 consulting firm • Experience in Revenue (ASC 606), Leases (ASC 842), Stock Comp (ASC 718), or Debt/Equity (ASC480/815) Technical Accounting + Audits • Drafting Statements (MDNA, Performa's,10-K, 10-Q, etc…) • AUDIT BACKGROUND • Strong Working Knowledge of GAAP SEC Reporting • Experience as a Controller • CPA Certified Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • HSA • FSA • DCFSA account options • 401k retirement account access with employer matching • Paid sick leave • Other paid time off as provided by applicable law Company Overview • Insight Global provides top talent and staffing solutions that help job seekers find careers in healthcare, finance, IT, and government.
