Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. West Virginia University is seeking a Part-Time, Temporary Web Designer for the Department of Physics and Astronomy. This role involves supporting the expansion of the SUMMIT-P website through content management and collaboration with co-PIs and professional society partners. Responsibilities • Write code for development and expansion of SUMMIT-P website • Participate in discussions with co-PIs about website design and layout • Update website content as instructed • Create/disseminate additional social media content as instructed Skills • Business, secretarial or technical training related to the position to which assigned, obtained through a formal training program of over eighteen (18) months. • A minimum of one (1) year of work experience directly related to the area of assignment. • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered. • Demonstrated ability to code for website design. • Experience coding/designing various online platforms. • Demonstrated ability to analyze data. • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to effectively use Excel and Word.
