Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. West Virginia University is seeking a Part-Time, Temporary Web Designer for the Department of Physics and Astronomy. This role involves supporting the expansion of the SUMMIT-P website through content management and collaboration with co-PIs and professional society partners. Responsibilities β’ Write code for development and expansion of SUMMIT-P website β’ Participate in discussions with co-PIs about website design and layout β’ Update website content as instructed β’ Create/disseminate additional social media content as instructed Skills β’ Business, secretarial or technical training related to the position to which assigned, obtained through a formal training program of over eighteen (18) months. β’ A minimum of one (1) year of work experience directly related to the area of assignment. β’ Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered. β’ Demonstrated ability to code for website design. β’ Experience coding/designing various online platforms. β’ Demonstrated ability to analyze data. β’ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. β’ Ability to effectively use Excel and Word.
