Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, and they are seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager to drive growth in their Consumer Health & Nutrition business. The role involves developing new opportunities, strengthening relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to introduce new products and technologies to market.
- Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by developing new business and expanding existing accounts through direct customer engagement
- Identify and close new commercial opportunities across dosage form solutions and nutritional ingredients
- Build and deliver strategic account plans that grow share of wallet and support new product launches
- Assess market trends and develop strategies to strengthen Lonza’s position in the Consumer Health and Nutrition markets
- Create tailored presentations and manage development projects with cross‑functional teams
- Provide timely customer support and coordinate with internal teams when needed
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development to position Lonza as a multi‑product solutions partner
- Skills
- BSc in a scientific field or equivalent relevant experience
- Business-fluent English and German
- 5–10 years' experience in sales, business development, marketing or strategic planning within relevant industries
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the Consumer Health & Nutrition landscape
- Knowledge of product life cycles and commercialisation processes
- Experience introducing new products or technologies to market
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical or CDMO operations is an advantage
