The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SimpliGov is a high-growth tech start-up recognized for its influential technology in the GovTech sector. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for prospecting and generating qualified leads for Sales Executives, while also developing knowledge of the SimpliGov platform and supporting the sales team in achieving their goals. Responsibilities Prospect, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of cold leads into prospects Develop a thorough knowledge of the SimpliGov platform, and value proposition Use Salesforce and sales enablement tools according to SimpliGov standards Support Sales Executives by prospecting and scheduling qualification meetings Maintain a sufficient volume of outbound activities to achieve or exceed your monthly quota of scheduled meetings and qualified opportunities Skills 1+ years of SDR experience Proven experience in generating 80% of opportunities through cold outbound prospecting Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual Bachelor's Degree or relevant working experience Outstanding written, verbal & presentation skills Comfortable, confident & professional in contacting potential customers Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing Prior experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Apollo (or other Sales automation and CRM systems) Must be located in the U.S Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
