Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Abraham Trading Company is a growing mutual fund company seeking a Sales Director to drive asset growth in the Abraham Fortress Fund. The role involves developing sales strategies, managing investor relationships, and collaborating with the team to enhance marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute prospecting strategy to grow AUM
- Build relationships with prospective investors like advisors, consultants, foundations, endowments, pensions, and other institutional investors
- Conduct consistent outreach via calls, email, virtual/in-person meetings
- Confidently present fund strategy, structure, performance, and positioning
- Maintain and update the firm website and marketing materials
- Support digital outreach campaigns and investor communications across channels like email and LinkedIn
- Collaborate with portfolio managers on commentary, insights, webinars, and presentations
- Manage prospective and existing investor pipeline, communications, and activity within HubSpot
- Represent the firm at conferences, industry events, and investor meetings
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience in financial services sales, investment product distribution, or investment-related business development
- Deep knowledge of finance, mutual funds, or asset management (alternative investments a plus)
- Comfortable discussing investment products in detail with financially sophisticated audiences
- Willingness to travel 20-30 days per year in the US (generally 1-2 times per month, 1-3 days per trip). Easy access to an airport is helpful
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Series 7 & Series 63 or 66 (or willingness to obtain) – exam costs reimbursed
- Highly organized with disciplined follow-through
- Self-starter comfortable working independently
- Collaborative, curious, and proactive
- Eager to learn
- Comfortable with AI tools and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and HubSpot
